Information on Malibu Wakesetters!!!?

Hey guys, I was looking into buying a malibu wakesetter because my family and I are getting more into wakeboarding. I was wondering what the wake was like specifically on a 2002 – 2003 model with the wedge and MLS but i wouldn’t mind feedback on models from any year. I was also wondering what the wake is like at skiing speeds since i also do a lot of skiing. I would be great if someone who owns one or has ridden a wakesetter with a diamond cut hull could tell me how the wake was at wakeboarding and skiing speeds (supposed to be better for skiing)

I’m guessing the wedge for that year model was not a power wedge, so it just has one setting…. it’ll throw up a good mellow make that you should be able to boost off. The diamond hull is awesome for skiing. I tested a wake setter xti (direct drive) with the wake package. It was good for wake at my level ( W2W jumps, 180’s, grabs) and great for skiing at my level (22′ off in the course) and also tested awake setterr VTX with the manual wedge and the diamond hull. The wake was nice, a little bigger than the XTI and the wake for skiing with the diamond hull was actually better than the direct drive XTI !!!. If the wedge had been a power wedge I’d have gone with the VTX, and in hinsightht , should have bought the VTX. VLX will only get better for wake and maybe not so good for ski..
